SANTORINI





Santorini, also known as Thira, belongs to the Cyclades complex. It is well known for its volcano, which is Greece's newest volcano and Europes' most active. Santorini is one of the most gorgeous natural wonders and most breathtaking scenery in the world, a legacy of the volcano that has become one of the most popular holiday destinations around the world due to volcanic and rugged beauty of the sunset from the top of the caldera, a pole of attraction for Greek and international celebrities.





The old port of Santorini is below Fira. In the past, the climb was only by donkey or on foot of the stairs. Today there is asphalt that leads to Fira and the impressive cable car and donkeys have become an alternative way of picturesque tourists climb. The new port is located just south of ships from Piraeus and other islands. You will also find many car rental agencies, hotels, etc., in the harbor there are buses and taxis to take you to Fira, Oia and elsewhere.


Fira is the capital of the island with a mixture of Venetian and Cycladic architecture, cobblestone streets with all sorts of shops, restaurants and cafes. An island with a very significant tourist infrastructure, Santorini, character, culture, gastronomy, nightlife in Fira and the beaches and shopping complex.
